Name: Grimbot's DLC Book Jackets - SI
Version: 1.3
Date: 04/01/08
Category: Texture Replacer
Author: Grimbot

===========
Description
===========

This mod is a texture replacer for Shivering Isles books. This mod is meant as a companion to PhoenixAmon's "Book Jackets: Oblivion", which is why I did NOT re-texture "The Madness of Pelagius". Seriously, go get PhoenixAmon's mod now if you haven't.

I made this mod because I'm a fan of Elder Scrolls lore and an avid in-game book collector. It's also my way of saying "thanks" to all the other modders out there who've made Oblivion such a blast to play. So... thanks!

Updates!
========

05/21/08

* I've added a hi-rez version of the vanilla book pages to match the ones I did for Grimbot's Spell Tomes. I also added one for "Blessings of Sheogorath's" blue pages.

* Thanks to Odin_ML for providing me with alphas for the SI icons. The mod should be totally compatible with Darnified-UI now.

*Restructured the folders so that the mod would be more compatible with book placers.

!!!IMPORTANT!!!
Please delete the following folders:

Data/Textures/GBBJSI
Data/Meshes/GBBJSI
Data/Textures/Menus/Icons/GBBJSI

Since I've re-ordered the file structure you'll have duplicate files. It's not gonna break anything but it'll needlessly eat-up hard drive space. And you've got to save some for Grimbot's Spell Tomes!

Superhuge up-front thanks to:
=============================

Gothic251 for fixing all of my ka-ka and actually making this thing function, yo.
Cheers to you, Gothic!

=========
Conflicts
=========

Since this is just a texture replacer it shouldn't conflict with anything. Unless that something else is also a texture replacer that replaces textures on Shivering Isles books. In which case you're going to have to make some tough decisions.

========
Location
========

Wherever Shivering Isles books are sold. Or, uh, stolen.

=======
Install
=======

1. Extract this archive to any folder and then copy the contents to oblivion/data folder. Or you can extract the archive directly in your oblivion/data.

2. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, and enable the .esp. Simplicity itself!

======
Future
======
The future is ruled by giant robots that have enslaved humanity. Cars can fly, but birds no longer can. Nor can birds drive cars. Birds in the future are pretty much screwed, it seems.

As for the future of the mod... my plans are/were to do all of the DLC books. I hope I get around to it, but I'm a busy man.

Special Thanks
==============
Thanks to PhoenixAmon for her original mod, and for providing the two-sided meshes I based my book jackets on.
Thanks to all you other modders and fans who keep Nirn alive.
And thanks to my spoon. My shiny, shiny spoon.
